Att: Spanish ppl, or ppl who know about their culture

Hello, can you tell me some expressions,or famous sayings for example you the english language you could say 'I have a bone to pick with you'.

And saying 'Rome was not built in a day' etc

I dont want the translations of these, I want sayings and expressions that spanish speaking people would use. For example I in South America somewhere they say 'I want to pick your bones' or something like that.
