Folks,

I havent posted in a while but this is something I've been working on with some friends. We're a pretty small team, of 3 execs and a few interns and we've been working on this event for the last few months now.

If anyone is in the Sacramento/Roseville, CA area on July 24th. Come by and support a great charity!
Ive been working with Matt Barnes (Orlando Magic) and Chris Webber and some close friends to put on this event.

Our Mission,
"Athletes vs Cancer (AVC) works with the community and its partners to support research, create awareness, provide screening opportunities and deliver subsequent support to cancer patients. Founded in 2009 by Matt Barnes in memory of his mother, the Foundation has expanded to recruit additional athletes and coaches touched by cancer. It’s primary focus in 2010 is to secure a mobile cancer screening van. The vehicle will visit low-income neighborhoods providing free cancer screenings, awareness and resources from AVC and its partner organizations"
