That's surprising. He's known to put on good shows. I guess his more to do with putting on an event though

He had his back to the crowd for most of the concert so spent it looking at the back of his head only concert I've ever left before encore arrogant prick

Opening for Beastie Boys doesn't really make sense to me the genres. Then again it could just be a party music type thing. I forgot about that chick in your group, she was pretty fly.

Obviously you've been to a lot of shows and performed, why do you think artists seem to not make a connection with the crowd, what's their biggest mistake

I forgot that we also opened for GZA once in Canada.

Some events are specifically aimed at multiple genres. Whatever can get the crowd hype. Beasties show was in France, so anything goes haha. It was a mad big event. I was at the side of the stage in the VIP when they did "Intergalactic" and I have NEVER seen a crowd go that nuts.

Some artists actually struggle to know what the crowd wants and to read their mood. That's an art in itself that you can only really pick up after doing lots of shows. It helps if you have a large catalog and you can switch it up or re-arrange your setlist on the fly. It's like DJing. And crowd interaction is always good but some artists don't like to do it for whatever reason.

Intergalactic would be so good live.

Yeah, I guess it comes with experience. Some performers seem to just going through the motions and it shows, horrible performances and stuff. It's funny you gotta do like your singing performances you do for yourself when no one is home and not caring about anything but in front of a crowd of people.
