Technology Ares is not working, need help

When I type up anything in Search nothing is coming up, any ideas of what the problem is and how I can fix it?

Ares hasn't been connecting for me or my friends, it's probably a network thing.

Whats better ares or limewire. I hear that ares has a ton of spyware and that limewire has none.

It's down for me too. ^Thats not true although the new limewire has an impressive interface.

Takes ages to connect. I guess a lot of people are giving up and not bothering so there's less files to share.

Ares comes with one piece of bundled software which you can choose not to install. It doesn't have any hidden spyware.
