people who are superstitious are morons. maybe i'm being harsh but it's true. i'm not religious and i personally think you have to be stupid to believe in something like religion. the same goes for superstition.

Skinner famously conditioned pigeons to be superstitious. He provided them with food via an automatic mechanism, regardless of what they were doing. The birds started to believe that their actions at the time the food was provided dictated when it was provided, so one bird believed that turning in counterclockwise circles would make food appear. Even though this behaviour didn't always provide the bird with food, he'd still do it. That's superstition.

what? everything is made out of atoms but there is some god that is in the "spirit" of all living things that controls everything, and whenever you do something that has been defined by humans to be bad (although when we were half monkey it was an instinct) you get punished by this divine being? that sounds like logic to you? lol

i am voicing an opinion. had you told me why you think otherwise i would have respected it, but you make it look like i'm an idiot for thinking that only morons believe in the impossible. if you explain how it is theoretically possible that there is a.. "god" out there, and it makes sense, maybe i'll change my mind.

also, assuming you are a christian, is your belief any more right than that of a jew or a buddhist or a muslim? or are there perhaps several gods out there that only deal with their followers?
