Are you? After all those years when the word 2pac doesn't sound as "cool" and "his latest albums" were terrible and hip-hop has moved on, do you still consider yourself a true 2pac fan?
Are you still looking forward to his new albums like you did in the past? Are you still as excited to hear new leaks?
Do you still care as much about his "messages" in songs? Does his lyrics still feel smart and relevant to you?

Or maybe it's just a sentiment and being a 2pac fan means to you that you were into 2pac for so many years and know so much about him so the meaning is rather symbolic?

Things are different, we are not the same, but the music and message is still from the heart...

So yes, maybe not the same way i use to feel but im still feening for a new album.. After all Tupac is a part of my youth, and his songs from way back are still better then most of the junk out there these days..

Peace

I am still a fan. I still turn it up when I hear Tupac on the radio. His latest albums and etc sucked balls, it sucked so much balls, but it's not Tupac's fault. Its the shitty people that took over his musics fault.

I do listen to the message he says on his records but it doesn't hit me the way it did years ago. When Pac first blew up, I was just a young kid hugging the block, chillin on the streets and whatever. His message would pump me up and want to do things and etc. But 15 something years later since then his words don't hit me the same way. I'm an adult now, working, thinking bout family issues and whatnot.

Do I still listen to Pac? Yes.
Am I still a fan? Yup.
Does his words and etc mean the same as it did back then? Nope.

I still consider myself a Pac fan. Every now and then I explore and try to listen new artists but in the end, I always have 'Pac to come back to. I think it's mostly just the messages in his songs aren't served to the listener, you have to basically search for it. But then again that's the best part of listening to 'Pac when your stoned.

I haven't cared for any latest releases for awhile now, I stopped at Until the end of time. I am still a 2pac fan, I will still see a programme thats on tv about 2pac and see a movie of his if its on tv.

But I don't listen to him that much now, I won't really check out any new album that has been released, I'm quite happy with what I have heard from him.

yessir, i still do consider myself a true 2pac fan. i dont listen to pac as much as i used to but thats probably cuz i know all the lyrics lol. i enjoy new leaks and hopefully new album is not raped like his last 2.

I'm still feelin Pac. I've gotten more diverse into tha whole g-funk thang from the 90s, but I always came back to Pac. Every now and then, I bump some Pac tracks I hadn't heard in a long time (like grab the mic or closest roaddawgz) and I catch certain lyrics that had so much depth in it, I'm like "damn". Pac is still my fav rapper and etc etc etc of all time, cuz of what he represented and what he couldn't finish. His legacy will remain to be defined in different ways, but maybe that is why he'll continue to live on.

i have my entire tupac mp3 collection on my blackberry which consists of about 300 tracks mostly og's and unreleased i take tupac everywhere with me

if im on the shitter and i got my phone with me i will skip through my phones media player untill i find the track i'm dumpin'

so yeah i still listen to pac every day, my favourite track to listen to just recently is the don't call me bitch remix it sounds funky, in fact is that one of your remixes rahim? as i have several of your mixes in my collection

Yeah I'm still a huge fan and I still listen to Tupac a lot. His messages are just as relevant to me now as they were back then. I think what has changed is that I'm no longer obsessed and caught up with it as I used to be. He has stand out lyrics that are always with me and help me get through life and my own problems and I still yearn to hear him again....not so much in lyrics from unreleased songs, but to hear him talking about what's happening today and what's happened since he passed in '96.

But I'm not breathing/living/thinking Tupac all day long anymore. I'm not chilling at the mall and looking for new posters, new books, new dvd's. I'm not scrapping for more Tupac from back in the day. His influence has irrevocably changed and largely affected my life and I'm kind of at peace with that knowledge now. I don't feel the need to constantly uncover more. I have a solid grasp on his influence and what his life stood for in relation to my life and life for all of us. I guess I've taken from him all that I can take and I'm happy with that.

I was bumping "My Block" from Better Dayz just the other day and his voice makes me sad inside....because that voice has forever become a part of me....because I want to hear it like I did for the first time again. But I can't and I've taken all I can from him. I'll always be a fan.

Some nice words.

eh, still a fan.. yeah..

i cant say his music hits me the same way it did back then, but its like, i've known about it so long that its almost a part of me. i've already gone through buying every album, and listening to them over and over.. so its kinda like.. now, yeah, i'd be stoked for a new album, but i'm not expecting anything special. you all know how it is but i can honestly say that i'll probably listen to 2pac for the rest of my life, im not saying every single day or something, but i can definately picture myself thinking about a pac song long down the road, and finding the cd it was on and listening to it all the way through. i guess i could say i do miss discovering all the different songs, hell i cant say i listened to him back in 96, it was more like 1998 or 1999 that i got into him, and i still remember riding my bike up to the local album store and buying 2pacalypse... haha.

As was said before. 2pac formed a major part of my youth (teenage years) and I'm sure as influenced me allot in different ways. Do I still appreciative the man and his music? Yes, although, now that I'm older, I acknowledge some of his views and attitudes were flawed (I think his venom in his latter years got the best of him). Do I listen to his music? Very infrequently. In my late twenties now, I'm needing artifacts with a bit more substance and intellectual vigor (whether that be through books, music etc) to keep my attention.

after 10 plus years of listening to 2pac on a regular basis, it is still a pleasure to listen to his music.

no rapper alive or dead can match or compete with 2pac's style. Tupac was unique in his art-form, and i stress the ambiguity of his lyrics!

yes i am more a 2pac fan than i was since i first heard RUSD.

Definately still a fan. I rarely listen to Pac now a days but he will forever be a part of me.

Like most here, I miss discovering new music and the feeling I'd get when I discovered a gem like Krazy, or My Block, or U can be touched og. That I'll never have that feeling again is sad.

I am still a fan, I still put a Pac song on every mix cd I make and every June around his birthday I start at 2Pacolypse now and listen to everything up through RUSD just to keep him memory alive in me.
