biggest crock of bullshit ive read on the net thus far. so say for example a carpenter whom is working as a contractor in iraq helping re-build the city Baghdad by repairing a bombed school gets kidnapped and held for ransom. the end result being him getting beheaded by supremists (sp?). are you actually telling me it's the carpenter's fault? not everyone has an army suit on jack, half these dude's getting kidnapped and beheaded are doing nothing but helping rebuild the torn country.... yet it's there fault according to you?

nono, i'm not saying its the carpenter's fault. i think you misunderstood what i was saying.i was saying it's whoever he's representing's fault. which is basically the u.s.theres something these guys that are doing the beheadings want in exchange for the person they kidnapped. If the u.s doesn't comply,then they kill him. So it's the u.s' fault that that guy got killed. BUT i also said that nothing is fair in a war because you have to play dirty to win,and that's what these people are doing. This is a technique they are using to get what they want.They are playing dirty.

The most recent hostage being plastered over our TV screens is an Australian civilian who has not lived here for a very long time.... who does he represent but himself? He is unconnected. Killing him wont make a difference to the Australian government's policy in Iraq (Governments dont care about individual lives - if they did, we wouldnt be at war), therefore targetting expat. citizens or others unconnected to the governments mission is entirely fruitless.
