I see more Blackberries than Iphones and Android phones. People in Canada seem a lot more Blackberry crazy than Iphone, let alone Android. One thing I do notice with Android users is that they have some kind of solidarity, at least around the University people are curious to know what Rom are you using, etc.

It is what it is though.

Well, in Europe they barely even sell Blackberry phones so I don't even recall seeing one. People wouldn't buy them here anyway.
Nokia phones were always the most popular but I see them way less often now than a year or two ago. Now casual people usually rock Android phones. People who would use feature phones back in the days buy Android smartphones these days. So I suppose that a huge majority of feature phone switchers go for Android.
But yeah, I also see Iphones. Usually on people I would perfectly expect to own an Iphone.
You know, they could create a social study about mobile operating system and types of people who use them since I see a huge correlation.

That's cos RIM is a Canadian company. I notice Canadians like to support their own. Nothing wrong with that...but BBs still suck lol.

Nah, I don't think people give a shit that it's Canadian lol, at least that's the feel I've been getting. They just go gaga over BBM, and many of our plans include free BBM without a Data plan.

i hope to be getting my dad a Samsung Galaxy Spica/Portal. He needs a new Satellite Navigation system, but I thought why not get him Sat Nav and upgrade his phone for around the same price? Makes sense, since he just took out a new sim-only contract with T-Mobile.. that way he can make use of his unlimited (1GB) data plan..
