All these thread about cartoon's from back in the day just has me reminising. I loved this show it was about a group of kids called "The Midnight Society" who meet every saturday night at midnight, at their little campfire site in the woods, and each week one of them tells a scary story. This was a teriffic show, and some of the episodes were actually scarry.

I never found them scary but they were pretty good, and how they always use to throw that "magic dust" on the fire before telling a story.

It was not scary, but i have to admit i used to watch it. And u can still watch it on some tv channels here...

I used to watch that on a Saturday morning!

They used to sit around a fire & tell quasi-creepy stories.

The thing I also noticed was they brought a whole fucking bucket of water to put our the fire!

the only episode that kinda spooked me was the tale of the super specs. these specs, from mr.sardo (accent on the 'o'), allowed you to view into another dimension. whenever they put on the specs a mysterious lady in a black dress would appear.

The thing I also noticed was they brought a whole fucking bucket of water to put our the fire!

Their are two episodes that actually kind of scared me.

The episode about a kid who steals this clown's nose, that's suppost to be a carnival attraction, but then the clown wants his noise back, so he goes to his house to get it, and you never see the clown but you hear him laugh, and walk around.

and the episode about the ghost Quicksliver, that one starred Tatina Ali from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
