he didnt turn his back on dame! just because he went with jay-z (which he is probably better friends with anyway) doesnt mean hes abandoning dame. i would hardly say that dame discovered him also.....he was giving beats to jay-z and had already a relationship with jay, but dame was the one who put on him the roc as an official member
