Anybody else on the board a fan of Punk and/or Alternative rock? Personally my favorite bands are Green Day and Blink-182 (not because of songs like "All The Small Things"). I grew up on rap mostly so for the past couple months I've been expanding my listening boundaries into the rock genre. It's some pretty good stuff IMO.
Anyways here's two of my favorite songs by Blink that I think are really looked over. Even if you are not a fan of the band it still wouldn't hurt to give it a listen.
Blink-182 - Obvious (From their eponymous fifth album)
Blink-182 - Violence (Also from their self-titled album, and also one of the most addicting songs I've heard in a while. If you listen closely to the bridge you can hear Mark Hoppus - vocalist/bass - talking in the background saying ,"A certain look in your eyes, when you open your eyes
Who will stand by your side?, so watch my eyes, watch em' turn while you go change.
Curtains down...When all their skill was cut,and i bled. There were forces of john jones.
I cant make you happy. it seems all i ever do is try..
You could never cut me deep enough to leave a scar, so take this gift. its somethin' to save...")
