I made a thread last week about how unactive this board is some days.

Looking at the stats are the bottom, there is currently 82 people looking at the board. Only 4 are members. Thats 78 people surfing the board that could and should be contributing.

Make them register so they can view the board and get more activity going.

There should only be 1 or 2 bots indexing things, and they shouldn't be here all the time either.

We could probably include some of our best best topics through newsletters.

Advertise to our already members.

But you just watch, more people will be out of jobs, and more posters will be back.

I however, Do reccomend deleting some members who have not posted or activated their account if its been for at least a year.

That way more names can be available to the public.

I remember there was a reasoning behind NOT making guests register.

That is what happens now. Log out and browse the board as a guest and you'll soon see .

One thing Id love to happen is you guys, what I consider the core family here, promote the forum and site on your facebook or myspace or other forums you post on and stuff like that.

I want more people like the ones that have posted in this thread being members on this site, so I think it would be great to target some of the other people you interact with on the internet as they would share similar characteristics and tastes.

^Well I got my bf to join like 2-3 years ago... not much of a poster though or a message board person at all. tejada4mvp. Yes that's him.

Most people I know are not computer people like I am. And don't like hip hop. I'm one of a kind in my groups of friends.

Oh, and Id also like to point out that making members register doesn't guarantee they will chose to post. Which is why I thought the whole racism thing was so important and could have been so damaging to the site.

They register, go to our block, see people being nothing but kids, racists, or bitching about rules, and just go back to browsing the news instead.

Im doing my part to get people in, we have about 20 registrations a day minimum, sometimes 2 times that, sometimes even more. I will soon be running give aways and competitions and the condition of entry will be a certain amount of posts or similar. So I am doing my part, but this is a community and if you want more people to participate in the community that community needs to take some responsibility upon itself.

I can do all that I can to bring people here, but I cant force them to like you and want to interact with you, that is something only you guys can do.

I want a Streethop T-shirt!
I remember ages ago there was an option (or a plan) to get a SH (or TB) clothes.
I would order one for myself and ask my friends. They'd want it if it had a reasonable price and looked good - I mean a simple, nice hip-hopish design like a SH logo without stupid trash all around that are on most of Makaveli Branded clothes for example.

A plain T with a Streethop logo for less than 20$ and I'd definately get one. That means I'd rep SH in real life yay
