Technology annoying problem

i've had this problem for awhile now...

every few times i exit an internet explorer window, i get this message:


i just click ok, and the message disappears. i've run an anti-virus, adware, and spyware scan, and my computer is clean. i have a firewall up and i don't do any risky web browsing or downloading.

i used to get the same message with "ie acrobat helper: application error", but then i went to the "manage add-ons" and removed the acrobat helper.

also, related to this, when i click on a link that brings up a new internet explorer window, the address bar is blank. it doesn't show the new address or anything, it is like it is "see-through", as i can see my wallpaper where the address bar should be.

What OS are you using? If you're on Windows 2000, it might be this.

i'm using xp service pack 2

yeah, i saw that too and i checked that out a while ago and it didn't apply to my machine, also, it said that when you clicked ok, that the computer would reboot and that isn't happening to me

Simple solution, switch to Firefox!!
