^word up. This guy worried about finger stains and shit.
^lol. Calm down mosquito.

Has the HTC Vision been confirmed yet?
Not officially, but I hear an announcement is imminent.
Yeah I've heard that as well.. just checking with you guys to see if you've heard anything different.
Do you think the Vision will be better or about the same as the Galaxy S?
It's not expected to land at Verizon until sometime in 2011, but it's never too early to take a look at an unannounced Android slider with specs like this. Leaked by Androidswag, the device is purportedly hiding a 1.2GHz processor (would that be dual-core?) beneath that 4-inch display -- the sweet spot for size and pocketability. The prototype pictured above was apparently sporting a Vodafone SIM card making this a pretty bodacious CDMA / GSM worldphone by the time it lands for retail. Of course, anything, or everything, could change by the time this pup is ready for launch and we'll be here covering every step of its journey. Two more shots after the break including a size comparison with the EVO 4G -- a few more at the source link below.
Better. It's essentially a 4G phone as it can utilize the new HSPA+ networks, assuming you live in a coverage zone. If you're in that zone you'll get 21MBPS speeds, which is insane..
Except of 4G the Galaxy S seems to be better. Vision will have a TFT LCD screen of a smaller size. Galaxy S has an awesome 4 inch S-AMOLED screen.
Also if someone doesn't really need a super fast internet on the move I think that 4G is not necessary.
I even have 3g turned off on my phone.
The Vision will have a faster processor and likely more RAM.
I rely on having superfast internet wherever I am. If I go out of 3G coverage areas it pisses me off. Especially when I need to use my laptop because I rely on 3G for tethering. Tethering on 2G is impossibly slow.
Most of the awesome Android features rely on having 3G speeds IMO. Things like Google Goggles, Navigation, Places, Latitude. I even update multiple blogs with the WordPress app from my phone sometimes. I like to use ShopSavvy in stores and Shazam when I'm in a club or in the car and I want to know what song is playing. I store some files on DropBox and my FTP servers which I can access through my phone if I need to. If I need to share a DropBox folder with someone I can do that wherever I am. I use the eBay apps when I'm out and about also.
According to GSMArena it's going to be a 1ghz single core.
