it will be interesting to see how the new iphone does (they are trying to allow it to run multiple processes).
The controlled environment is what has made the company successful.
What made Apple successful is Good marketing and fanboyism, and that didn't happen until the first iPod was released. Before that, Apple was just another brand of computer primarily owned by people who are involved in graphics, video and music. Marketing made them what they are now, not good technology.
All Apple care about is making a quick buck from people who want to be cool.
I don't hate Apple, i'd buy a Mac if I could afford the ridiculous prices, but all it would be good for is doing some photoshop and editing some videos, nothing else.
Spoken like a true Android user. Again, the only people that complain are people who do not use the iPhone. Go figure.
And Android fans wants to perpetrate a myth that Macs can't compete in a high end environment.
Because you're taking something so trivial and making it sound like its tyranny.
I know a lot of people who complain about their Iphones and Mac
Most people who do simply don't use them - fair and simple.
Most Mac users don't even know by themselves why they are better, don't think on their own and have no experience with other systems and MOST opinions about Macs are lies plain and simple.
Do you remember that marketing tool when they lied about how they are the only ones to do something? Like "only here you can put your computer to sleep with just closing a lid" -every other system did that too, "it doesn't crash" - yeah, right.
every other system had more better freeware programs for the very same thing and you could choose from a wide variety of those that could suit you.
They just made you feel a certaing way - probably made you feel that you have something superior
Also that bullshit that they are so awesome for Photoshop etc. - how the fuck if Macs use ported version of Windows Photoshop which works faster on Windows AND Windows machines are usually initially faster.
Same with that stability myth - Macs are terribly written - seriously programmers at Apple suck balls big time. They're trying to keep that opinion by banning thing that can mess with your computer. Then users get no multi-tasking as an outcome because they can't do it right.
Because that's not a myth. Apple is not advanced in any branch except of dirty marketing. Really, if they made a fast computer it would probably cost million dollars.
See, Apple fanboys can't understand that Apple is a terrible company making the market for electronics go wrong way. There are hundreds of reasons why it annoys most people in IT and most of them are really justified.
And when they say that Macs suck it's really true.
If there were more smart people Apple would lose its market share.
