I dont like the video quality. I know there's a way to fix it to make it not so pixelated but I can't remember. Don't usually watch videos on it anyway. I love the teflon? coating on my phone...it stays sooooo much nicer and cleaner than my ipod.

Yay keco has a HTC Hero. My cousin has one of those. I dig them.

Are you talking about video quality on the YouTube app? You just press Menu when the video is playing and it should give you an option "Play in High Quality".

Yeah the teflon coating is a great touch.

gah...now I feel dumb. I knew it was something simple but I almost never watch videos on it.

I kinda want it but have no reason to get it. I have basically a brand new G1 again (refurbished probably but can't tell the difference).

Here's why Android will ultimately win the mobile OS war:

Google has three of the top 10 sites most regularly accessed on mobile phones - natively integrated into their operating system. Not to mention that Facebook is tightly integrated into the core system of Android 2.x also.

No other company has more than 1 entry in this list.

Think about it - 12 months ago, there was ONE Android device on the market....running Android 1.1. Now there are 2.1 devices out there and at least 25 devices running Android, many of which appeal to different demographics.

Let's see where we're at this time next year. 2010 is going to be huge for Android.

Depends how many torrents you download and the overall file size.

also, is there a better text-message app that will replace the current text messaging method? i'd prefer to have all my contacts visible and then select multiple instead of having to think of which recipients to select and then type them from memory.

it would really be much easier sending the same messages (i.e. xmas messages, new years messages) to multiple recipients (majority of people in my phonebook) rather than having to do a few people at a time.

Yes, there's an app called Text Easy for doing that very thing.

That was one of the first apps I downloaded last December when I got my G1. As a musician, it's important for me to be able to "mass text" when I have a new release out, or a big TV appearance, etc.

/\ Don't bother flashing this. It's buggy as hell. Kept rebooting on me before it even booted properly.

I had to revert to a Nandroid backup from 5 days ago :(

Knew I should have Nandroided before flashing this. Oh well, all sorted now. I doubt I lost anything major, I keep pretty much everything synced to the cloud anyway so I'm all good.

when you say MT, what does that refer to?

Lucky escape. i havent done a nandroid backup since the last two times ive updated the ROM. should be more cautious.

Cyanogen said he will include a fix in the next release to solve those problems.

MT = multitouch

Not sure what you're talking about.

The UK/EU version of the Droid (Milestone) has native Multi-Touch.....they ported the Milestone ROM to the Droid and the MT works perfectly.
