Yeah, I'm back on rooted Touchwiz because I don't get data consistently at home, otherwise. It's like 5 modules to get the things CM just does naturally.

I fixed a lot of my lag programs with TW by disabling the animations. I always did this in CM and everything was snappy. Turns out I forgot to enable dev options in TW so I finally did that and turned off all animations. World of a difference.

New GMail .apk.

I kind of liked the old one better. Switching between accounts was much easier.

Are you flashing a new radio or anything? Your data should be the same no matter the ROM being used

I don't think so. For my phone, ND8 is the radio for the latest TW ROM, and ND8 is also required for the current CM11 nightlies. However, on CM, data flickers in and out making it basically unusable, but on TW with the same PRL, radio, etc., it is constant.

Some users on XDA reported the same as well. On stock, reception tends to be better, for some reason. I already live in a shitty wooded area, but on TW I really don't lose connection like I did on CM.

I can see the details on my Moto 360. HR and Steps... etc. It links in with Google Fit.

Cool. Let me know how you find it further down the line.

The limitation of using it just on my phone is that it won't account for my activity when my phone is placed on a table or desk. That's one problem that Android Wear should resolve providing that I'm wearing the watch at all times. I'm excited about this but I'll wait a few years before I buy a Smartwatch.

I think the Nexus 6 might be it. I read the preliminary review on AndroidPolice, and it just looks so nice. Moto phones used to look like shit, starting with the original Droid (Milestone). They're kind of got it down with the Moto X and now the 6. It looks like a modern device.

I'll wait a month or two but I think it'll overtake the iPhone 6+ for contention.

I'm not sure bezel bothers me too much. My MacBook Pro has a retarded bezel.

Connectivity between iOS and OSX sounds so nice on paper, but I can't imagine really using it too much. That's what always draws me in to iOS. The potential to play nice with my computer and have the extra features. But they're not worth it.

I've started to realize that Android is nice and all on phones, but where I really appreciate it is on tablets. It really makes you forget you're using a tablet at times, because performing tasks on it are very similar. I saw this when my computer was out of commission and I was still able to enjoy downloading my TV shows from Warez sites and I was able to play the media with just VLC. I'm not sure I could've done the same with my iPad. I would've needed a file explorer that probably still wouldn't have let me access certain files.

I don't need a tablet too much anymore. But I do like the Nexus 9. The way it looks, as I haven't used it yet. But if Android lets me do all the things my computer can and just as easily, then I may look into getting one.

I think it would be real fitting for this "thread" to move to Google Hangouts. I really don't post on here that much, other than in this thread.

You're always trying to leave this place. I like posting here, no need to move it to hangouts, it wouldn't make it easier, for me at least

I need to find a new phone for my gf. She doesn't like the size of the nexus 6 or 5 for that matter. She doesn't need something crazy but I do not know what to get, help me out

It's easier to check on mobile. I think thing would be more active if people were able to share from the browser or Twitter app directly in to the chat.

But it's ok, it doesn't seem gain traction whenever I ask.

What do you guys use as your Twitter app? I've been on Falcon but I was wondering if there was something better now.

Still waiting on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 to receive the update, but nothing yet. I can wait for the OTA though. I'm guessing it'll be available around Nov 18 as that's when the Nexus 6 gets released over here.

I heard UK release date for the N6 got pushed back to Dec 1st.

The OTA is supposed to be happening around the 12th or so.
