My brother is thinking of getting the Sony Xperia X3, but I showed him the X3 Compact and he's really considering that now because he needs a cheaper contract.

Today, I showed him the OnePlus one briefly and he seems quite interested in that... Just need to figure out how to get him one now. I know two people that have one but there are no invites available. I asked one week too late as his invites were given to someone else...

cracked my nexus 4 screen, bought a replacement screen, got wasted, lost my nexus 4. not in the same day.

bought HTC one, rooted it, it died, got a new one. still have htc one. not in same day.


now, there's not a single Android phone on the market that i'm remotely interested in. obviously, a bunch of phones with better specs. but not the look. and i won't buy the new htc one just for the new specs.

and the iphone 6 i'm not a fan of. so it's either stick with htc one as long as possible, wait for a new android phone i actually like, or cop the iphone 5s.

Replace the back of the Nexus 4. I still have the 4. I am going to change the back and the battery.

I tried to order a wood back but they ran out. It doesn't really bother me at all though so i don't know, maybe once it starts chipping and little pieces of glass cut me or something then I'll replace it

I always wanted to change my cracked S3 screen. Had that crack since the first week of owning it. So today I changed my bum HDD in my MBP and slipped in a SSD. Now I feel like I can do anything.

So I may buy one of those cheap kits for replacing the screen on your phone. Just the glass is cracked, no digitizer damage. I might be able to slip a cheap one on there so I can at least sell it. No one's buying this shit cracked. Might still get like $50-75 for the S3, though that might be a bit optimistic, considering it's CDMA.

While my computer was down over the weekend, I had to resort to watching my shows, like Big Bang and Family Guy on my phone. Kind of appreciated Android for that because I just torrented it and popped it open in VLC. I know on my iPad that wouldn't be possible. I don't think there's even a torrent client for iOS. Maybe on Cydia. But then a file explorer for iOS....that would've been a bitch to deal with.

Not too newsworthy since we kind of knew/heard this, but I'm ready for Nov. 3 to see some quality reviews trickle in on the N9 and L

Yeah, but the heat gun becomes an issue. I don't have one.

Looks like my sister is pushing my dad to make an upgrade for the 6 or Plus soon. I'm going to have to stay strong and stick with my S3 until the time is right to upgrade.

I feel like Black Friday will bring out some carrier deals.

The sensors may have been dirty. Fingerprint, or something. They warn about that in a lot of tutorials.Or could have been a shit supplier. They're all cheap, Chinese companies, but I'm sure some are still quality while others are just meh.

Anyone using a nexus 6 preview yet? Shit is crazy. I have a white keyboard though, I don't like that.

Another thing is you bring up tabs in chrome with the recent apps button, kind of weird, not sure if I'll like it. I might be missing something but creating a new tab is dumb now, there is no + button.

I must be the only one here that uses Xposed. Never hear anyone talk about their modules.

Don't need it, can do everything with I want with the ROM I use or just mod some files if I need to
