I really like the look of the round one. But... I want heart rate monitoring and the usual fitness band functionality. Even if it just mirrors the application from my phone and has the sensors in the phone.

I want that Moto 360. It's beautiful. Bring it out. I'll buy it now, regardless of price.

I would definitely consider trading my Nexus 7 for a G Pad 8.3. They're actually only £189.99 here in the UK, which is cheaper than what the N7 retails at.

People in the UK are going mad for the Chromecast. While I like it, I can think of plenty of reasons not to buy one.

I think they are a million times better than Apple TV though. And good for the laptop connected to the TV, type of people. Especially now it's got plex.

I think it's a hit because most people don't want to piss about with additional hardware, additional remotes, complicated setups, etc. Good thing about Chromecast is that anyone in your house can use it within about 30 seconds on their own smartphone or tablet.

Yeah, I think I read that the screen was better on the LG? Brighter or more accurate, I dunno.

It's rather dated now, so I think I'll wait until the next round of Nexus tablets come out and decide then.

You're showing the GPE GPad. I think the LG version is the one that is cheaper, in the States.

Yeah. I think you can root and apply the GPE rom though. I've seen GPE roms for the S4, HTC One and Moto G, so I'm assuming you can do the same with the G Pad.

^ S-pen and digitizer which changes a lot if you want to do any kind of drawing or writing. That's all. For some people that's worth the money, for some it's not.

Anyways I bought myself a Windows tablet (The Asus T100) and I sold my Macbook Air. I loved it, but it wasn't useful to me since I have a PC with big screen and all that at home and I also have a company laptop, so the MBA was wasted on me.
I will probably sell my 2012 Nexus 7 as well or just keep it for playing with new Android releases and stuff.
Windows 8.1 is not ideal but it gives me lots of functionality that can't be matched by Android or iOS, even if it's far less convenient especially to use on the run.
