Aye, the last few days i've been throwing my dad's cd's on my PC. Old blues, John Lee Hooker, old jazz, Charlie Parker, Coleman Hawkins, classical shit, Bach, Beethoven, and also Nirvana, Radiohead and the unforgettable Jimi Hendrix

The last name grabs me. I was a Jimi fan before, his guitar skills are undisputed, but his music is so fantastic, i couldn't help to make this thread when listening to his shit drunk :)

All Along The Watchtower
Purple Haze
Hey Joe
Voodoo Child
Foxey Lady
Crosstown Traffic
The Wind Cries Mary
Highway Chile

If you hate any of these tracks, i will track you down and kill you. :)

Jimi was a legend. A phenomenon. His ear for music, combined with his skills and indomitable passion, makes him one of my top 10 artists ever.

Let's hear it for Jimi Hendrix :)

You can't fuck with Jimi. In fact I found a cool pic the other day....

The guy on the left is one of my favorite musicians, and I will shortly be making a thread for him. A jazz musician and bass guitarist named Jaco Pastorius (RIP). He was to bass what Jimi was to guitar.

Red House is my personal favorite along with Purple Haze, Hey Joe, Foxey Lady and I like how he played the Star Spangled Banner from Woodstock '69.:thumb: Definitely one of the top artists ever.

My fav Hendrix is off of his Blues CD. "Born Under a Bad Sign." What he does with that guitar in that song is incredible. And it's all spontaneous.
