Just saw this movie today, and it was VERY good. Edward Norton was amazing, as expected, but everyone else was really good too. Character development and the story were great. Cracks into my top 10.

Your thoughts?

Yeah it's a good movie. Not one I like to watch too often but it was good.

Probably Norton's best performance. I wish Edward Furlong would get his personal life and drug addictions in check, Id like to see him do more films.

So that's why we haven't seen him in many other movies? He has a problem with drugs? I never knew that.. I just thought he dissapeared like that.

Yeah he has a big problem with drugs. He was dropped from Terminator 3 (he was the kid in part 2) because they couldnt insure him, no insurence company would take him on, because the chances of him fucking up, getting arrested or ODin during production were too high at that stage...

I mean look at dude...

ya i was pretty pissed wen i heard he wasnt gunna be in terminator 3. but the guy that replaced him wasnt that bad i gess

it's definitely a great movie, but like Rukas said, it's not a movie i like to watch too often. I really liked the way it was filmed, it almost feels like a documentary more than a movie at some points, which makes it feel more real. And Ed Norton was truly amazing in this movie, easily his best role to date.

this was a great movie

the curb stompin scene was fuckin crazy

yea man, that made me cringe

i knew a dude who was friends with some skinheads who did that to people, he said it was called a "smilie"

GREAT movie! I believe it to be one of the best movies made in my time. It has so much reality to it. You can feel every side of the story which makes it so much better than most movies.

... Only thing that bothers me is there actually are people like that in the world.
Couldn't help but wonder which 'group' you was refering to. The ignorant skinheads that wanted nothing to kill these black guys for reasons created by an old guy with no time. Or the 'thugs' that believed they had every right to fuck with anyone they wanted to without deserving retaliation (such as a good old fashioned curb stomp).

I for one completely agree with what Edward Norton did with the curb stomp. If my dad was dead (no matter how he died) and someone came fucking with his truck, one of his only possessions i had left. I would fuck them up. I don't care if they was black, white, mexican, whatever. I'd definatly be killing someone.
As for the kid getting shot at the end. Now that was fucking pointless. I mean, seriously, what the hell did that kid do to deserve to be killed. He blew smoke in that guys face? That might deserve an ass whoopin but not to be killed.
The ignorance of man is crazy.. yet somehow entertaining.

so your a skin head?... you actually agreed with everything they did

^^^Learn to read, he called them ignorant skinheads and said he'd kerb stromp anyone whether black, white, mexican, whatever.

It's a great film and i love the way it's told, taking up just two days of "film time" but the rest bein flashbacks and hindsight, very well made movie and Ed Norton is mind blowing in it, very underrated actor IMO.
