what do you want to/need to accomplish or reach this year?

Seeing I recently finished a 4 and a half year apprenticeship, it's time to finally go back to studies. Get my builders certificate, followed by an engineers certificate and instead of working my ass off in the heat, let my mind do the stressing inside air-conned rooms. But work cash-in-hand jobs still.

Get a new crib, I'm looking at property in between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, a few acres worth (I think it was 5-10) of land still a reasonable price at $150, 000.

I wanted a new car, my 2003 es lancer is still running smooth but as a tradesman the new Triton utes by Mitsubishi or even the Ford Ranger are looking pretty good. However that might have to wait until 2k8.

Finally a bit of traveling my grandnana, my favorite uncle and one of my cousins aren't in the best shape. Seeing they all live in Portugal, it'll be fitting to head there for a few weeks. Stir some trouble over in Europe.

I'll probably accomplish 2 of those 4 things within the year, maybe 3 depending how much I push myself in these early months. I'm optimistic though.

Put the album out.

Tour 5 US artists (two already worked out and signed for).

Do national tour for ourselves.

4 shows in Tokyo, Japan (almost finalized now).

Work out another stream of income, hopefully mostly passive.

Sell the Passat and either get a BMW or the 300C.

Finish my solo EP, put it out via iTunes deal (deal done already)
Mass media and street promotion of EP, heavy radio playlisting of first single. Then meetings with labels to discuss album deal.

Got a lot of gigs with Swami this year, since the new album will be out in February, as well as the first single being included on a big compilation that Universal are putting out in Feb. Our track will be the lead track on the compilation. 5 gigs confirmed for February, and many more being confirmed over the summer including a gig in Central Park, NYC in June/July, and Singapore in June. I wanna do as many shows as possible this year, I felt I/we didn't do enough last year.

Additionally, I just got a new apartment so part of the next few months will be spent fixing it up and making it look good.

I have two semesters left until I finish my BA and I want to complete those.

I want to get a car in cash for right now until I finish my degree and then finance a new car.

I want to get a job in my desired career field right before I finish my degree.

I want to go home to Quisqueya.

I want to try and purchase a condo in Santo Domingo.

Oh yeah, and furnish/decorate my new apartment.

That's about it, I think.
