I give up. Most of you can't seem to see the revolution that is this car. It's not about looks. It's not about straight line performance (of course a GTO is going to take it. It has a petrol engine 4 times as big, wanker). It's a about a small car with an even smaller diesel (how many times am i going to need saying that?) engine doing what it does.

Of course there are still bigger and faster cars around. Fuck oath, no surprise.

does anyone seriously drive a diesel in america??? unless you're an 80 year old fuck that bought a 300D back when it was first introduced, and still drive it, you dont drive a car with diesel....

oh, and im sure you can find an F1 car for under 35K.....

Companies don't tend to sell Formula 1 cars. And you'd need to shell out a lot more than 35k if you do find a manufacturer.

And there is a world outside America.

I misunderstood you on the F1 thing. You were being vague, though.

You're missing the altogether point of this thread. It's not whether you like it or would buy, it's about how this car does what it does how it is. It's about engineering. There's more engineering in that lil diesel VW than is in that big lump of GTO you're so fond of.

some cars do have diesel. it isnt as popular though because america doesnt have as an intelligent set of consumers overall to work with. alot of people in the U.S. dont know how to drive manual, as to where alot of european countries have nothing but manual cars.
