i lost touch with NBA ever since they became more ghetto...it used to be nice with NBA games on NBC...then they just blew up and went commercial...blame espn i guess
remember the days of nba on nbc, thered be games on sunday, normally the bulls and knicks, or the bulls and someone cause they wanted to get jordan on tv.
the quality of the nba was much much better back in the early to mid 90s' (read 1990-1997/8). the teams were better, the games were played much harder, its because there was a different generation of players, jordan, magic, bird, barkely, thomas, etc etc.
there was nothing like watching jordan go for 49 on some team with marv alberts yelling "YES! AND IT COUNTS!!"
Old chicago stadium used to rock and roll, the stadium was so loud u couldnt hear the commentators. then prices for tickets started skyrocketing around the nba and u got rich people in suits who dont wanna sweat or yell and scream. LOWER TICKET PRICES SO THE POOR BEER DRINKING NBA FAN CAN ATTEND!
marv alberts was doing the commentary before he bit all those women and ran around in their bras and panties. those were the days.
