Since the murder of No Limit rapper Soulja Slim outside of his mother's home on November 26, 2003, the alleged killer has yet to be charged. 25 year old, Garelle Smith is believed to have been hired as a hitman to complete a hit out on Slim for $10,000 using what appeared to be a stolen officer's weapon.

Soulja Slim, whose real name is James Tapp was killed when he was shot 3 times in the face with an NOPD issued 40 caliber glock pistol.

Smith has also been aligned with the slaying of 2 other individuals in first degree fashions. Most recently, Garrelle Smith has been accused of killing a 24 year old man outside of a FEMA trailer but had charges dropped on 3/19/07 due to lack of evidence. And currently, Smith is serving time for allegedly killing a 28 year old man in late 2003, not too long after he was let go for Slim's murder.

The suspect has yet to stand trial for the murder as Prosecutors have since dropped the case against him. Garelle Smith was arrested in November of 2003 but never charged in Prosecutor's defense of building a stronger case against him.

For those who may briefly or not even remember the upcoming southern rapper, Souljah Slim is most known for his posthumous 2004 hit song "Slow Motion" with Juvenile. In addition, just before his death, Slim was working on a collaboration album with former Cash Money member BG.

Damn This is sick. It sounds like this guy has some serious issues, killing all those people, and the bastard has gotten away with it way to many times! It's about time somebody something about this guy and put him behind bars for life.
