Your issue could be is if it is morally permissible to engage with in sexual relations and/or emotional intimacy with a person that is is under 18 years of age...that could be debatable.. even though, from a moral stand point.. I see him as a pedophile, because I see that kid too be too young to understand what is going on... secondly.. the issue of morality is not the issue here, they are trying to find a legal reason to prosecute him... and if they find he broke any laws. hes going to court... secondly, it is the law, for somebody of his age to engage with somebody under 18 is rape.

Before we judge age, we should judge maturity. There are some 15 year olds who are more mature than 19 year olds. When people argue that people under 18 are too young to have sex because they are not mature enough,or that they don't know what they are doing, then how come they are mature enough and know what they are doing when a 13 year old puts a bullet in someone's head? Why are they adults when they commit crimes,but children when they are victims?

i agree with everything you said, and infact we keep having these same discussions in Ethics... but the law is the law.. now if the law is wrong... and needs to be changed that's whole other issue you know... but for the United States, a 50 year old trying to sleep with a teenager... usually people label that person a faggot ass pedo... and some dont... but the law does....so, ofcourse i cant judge him... i actually believe he does suffer from some sort of emotional trauma.. but some people have told me, thats just a clever tactical move he took part in
