Accents

^I dont have to download...just click

I don't hear an accent in the Croatian one.

Sofi, that link doesn't have anything...

Anyways, there are different dialects in Croatia, for example... Dalmatian Croat (Southern) has its differences from Zagreb Croat (Nothern) like in wording...

Everywhere else they'll say 'pod' for a floor, but find an uber Dalmatinac, he'll say 'kloh', which I am guilty of at times.

That includes accent differences. We're more melodic with our sentences in the south, the north south like fucking cave-men (rightfully so, since they are)

Edit: Ok, I got the link to work... Hizzle doesn't sound like that. He sounds like he's fresh off the boat. lol

Well, if you read the description, it says the English is almost perfect.

Also, it's stupid it says Croatia, when the city they mention is in Bosnia.

It's not a direct link. You scroll down and choose the sound yourself.

But yeah I know what you're talking about. Plus, there's the whole city-village thing to take into account. In Bosnia, a person living in a city and a person living 5 miles away in a village will sound different lol.

The funny thing is though, once Bosnian FOBs start speaking English, they all sound the same.

Yah, I noticed they said Croatian, and it's in Mostar. lol. Well, you know what Mostar is like, eastern part is Croat nationalists and the western part is Bosniaks... Not sure where the Serbs are, prob in the middle telling them both to be quiet.

Agreed about the city-village thing. Can't speak about Bosnia, but I've been to selos around Sibenik where I don't even understand them. It's like they're speaking old Venitian/Dalmatian/Croat. lol.

IDEA - Dialects & Accents of Croatia

This one's pretty close to Hizzle as far as description goes.

I'm listening to it...

Well the guy does come from my city...

Yeah I sound like that just a little bit less british and with a little bit more of an accent. edit: Fuck you David.

We learn english in 1st grade so we are pretty good in it.

Yeah Flip, before we were the only damn city in Bosnia-Herzegovina where people openly said that they were Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims without giving a crap about Croatians, Serbs and Bosnians... we were Herzegovians.

Now some say that we are Croatians, Serbs and Bosnians, but we kind of still all agree that we are Herzegovians. We love wine, fish and more wine.

You have to scroll to the middle-end to hear them speaking naturally...in the beginning they're reading something

Yeah, I know back in the way days nobody gave a shit. It's slowly going back to that now, but still is far off...

*Remembers videos of Mostar after Croatia lost to Turkey in the Euros*

Velez Mostar's Red Army; they don't care about ethnicity or religion from what I know, right? They don't choose sides, they choose Mostar. LOL.

That Turkey thing was like the match between Croatia and Brasil. Both crews united to fight the cops.

And about Red Army, it's not that we don't choose sides, we don't choose anything, we are just anti-nationalists. Our leader is a Catholic/Croatian call it what you want... About 60% are Bosnians, 30 are Croatians and 10 and Serbs. (Of those signed up in the club.)

But I know what you mean with that "LOL", but the day after we sent an official statement that we have nothing to fucking do with those fights and that no one had the right to represent the fan club outside of the official events. You have to agree with that when you sign up for membership.

Oh and I hate those fucking supermuslims who are racist towards Catholics and the Orthodox.

^you sound retarded.

But no, you kinda sound like a female Duke.

Duke, you know how I had trouble describing what you sound like? Kinda like that.

We should all just record a short voice clip and post it. When I find my mic I will.

Shadows, you go first pendejo.
