? about bail

this has been eating away at me for a while...last i checked, bail was only posted when a suspect was in custody, before conviction and sentencing. so how was suge able to bail pac out after he was put away? you can't just go up to a prison and pay some money to let a convicted man walk free. it doesn't work that way. is there some provision in the law that says you can?

2Pac was granted an appeal on his charges. But the judge set his bail at 1.3 million to ensure pac would return for the retrial. I believe thats how it went... sure someone else could add more to this...

he was out on bail pending his appeal...when ur convicted u have a chance to appeal and while u appeal, you can b out on bail

Yep - absolutely! - Not sure about how they determined the bail money, but Pac was granted bail so he could appeal against the charges as he had the right to do so -. As u know, murderers are refused bail, but in cases such as this it is often granted - but at a high price!!!!
