Film & TV A Strike has occurred.

^I don't know how it works on that show but whoever is writing for that must not be part of the writers guild.

If you are part of it you will kicked out and if you are not you will be banned from ever entering if you write for shows during a strike.

i think her show is syndicated or something and that she is under contract and shes like obliged to continue her show. the writers guild iss pissed off with her.

Ellen herself is a WGA member, but she crossed the picket line to record her show. She's allowed to write her own material because she's the host, or so the studio claims. I think the likes of Steve Carell (The Office) and Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) would be allowed to cross the picket line to fulfill non-writing roles, but since they're WGA members they refuse to do so. As should Ellen.

Yea but Heroes is the only one i really care about! :(

well i dont care about heroes!! lol

but i should download season 1 and season 2 (what has been aired) to catch up on that serie that i heard was the shit.

i care about gossip girl and smallville. those are the only 2 shows i really follow. gossip girl has been playing each every two week since the strike begun.

You should really start watchin Heroes. The show is really great and im sure alot of people here would agree with me on that one.

INTERNET IS REPLACING T.V.

You may have a point there, these past couple of months I haven't actaully watched any new episodes of my favorite shows (mainly Heroes, The Office and Scrubs) mainly because of time constrants. So I went to nbc.com and watched them on there.

If abc were to allow a brand new episode of LOST available on its website, free, a good 3-4 days before it aired, I would watch it then without a doubt. Even if i had to sit through the same number of commercial breaks, only with the same 30 second commercial played numerous times between.

Adult Swim allows that, shit. I haven't actually watched an Episode of the new Boondocks season on television at all up to this point. Adult Swim has it up every friday for free, same with Metalocalypse and Robot Chicken and ATHF, and ect.

If I were to choose between 2girls1cup.com or LOST or Heroes, yeah. I'd go with the 2 that are ACTUALLY entertaining.

The AMPTP are supposed to be drawing up new proposals. They were supposed to be ready Tuesday, after a four day break, but they weren't. They had nothing on Wednesday either, or Thursday. So at the minute, the ball is still in the AMPTP's court and they're not doing anything with it.
