Wrong again. What are my set of principles, then?
You're a preaching atheist.
I'm the coolest motherfucka on this board without even trying.
Let's not put this to a vote.

That's not a set of principles.
We did that before, remember? IIRC, it was something like
Pro-Casey : 25 votes
Anti-Casey: 3 votes
I'm confident the scores would be even better this time.
The fundamentalist about you is the radical and intolerant behaviour.
Those attributes, whilst present in fundamentalists, do not make one a fundamentalist.
Besides, I'm not radical or intolerant IRL, I mainly just do it to fuck with people on here.
Although there is no way i can prove it, i highly doubt that this is true.
It's not an assumption. He has not been proven to exist, therefore he exists to me about as much as dragons and unicorns

I'll lmao if someone discovers an unicorn which is possible with all these undiscovered species![]()
frodo, you do realize that there is not, has never been, and never will be a god, right? quite frankly if you don't realize that....get the fuck off this board.
People become more religious at hard times. It would never happen to me though, because I'm an atheist
Or of a giant invisible razorfanged Vagina ruling earth with an iron labia.
This would probably cause less carnage than the christian god.
I for one would bow to our new razorfanged vaginal overlord.

I think you're misunderstanding each other. I don't think Casey categorically, principally denies the slightest possibility of a God, but he doesn't deny the possibility of Magic Giant Snail either. Or of a giant invisible razorfanged Vagina ruling earth with an iron labia..
I mean, It's that I think offending people because of that wouldn't be the best thing to do, even if their belief seemed to have no merit at all.
I wouldn't tell a kid that Santa Clause doesn't exist if believing in him made him feel better.
Yup! But the hypocritical thing is, a lot of people won't think it's weird to keep the possibility of a God open, but those same people will call you a retard if you say you're keeping the vagina-possibility open. But regardless, It was just about the quote "there will never be God". You can't be sure.
There's no scientific proof right now but we never know what will happen in the future and if you're going by scientific rules you shouldn't neglect the possibility.
It wouldn't matter if the belief wouldn't progress beyond "just a belief". But religions do. Hell, how they do.

"The idea of a God", though possible, has no more credibility than ANY other idea that has no proof. Let your imagination run riot. Come up with the sickest, most twisted unlogical idea about something existing and I will give it the same amount of credibility as God.
"I believe in God" = normal person
"I believe in unicorns and leprechauns" = suddenly you're the village idiot
That is the blatant hypocrisy that annoys me to no end.
