Members, big one love to a few people doing their thing and keeping me smiling or laughing everytime I log on. Amara, K69tie, _carmi, Missy "C", Synful Luv, Flipp, Salar, E, Amerika'zMost (you annoying mofo) and Kamikazi (who im convinced has a built in toilet to the computer chair because he's online 24-7)..

thanks for the shoutoux. :D and lol @ kamikazi & the built in toilet.

nice thread, your observations are correct sir on mod things.

I think this thread is to be honest, wrong. It seems we are all jumping on the bandwagon and ganging up on certain mods. There was no need for this thread and it seems a bit like a disguise to bash on a mod.
If you don't like how someone is handling things there is a way to do it, it's called confronting them or speaking to an admin to get them to address it.

I also don't agree with closing and reopening each others threads. There is supposed to be a certain amount of respect amongst mods and you are supposed to be helping each other, not "battling".

Also - Merge is OK. But it used to be that threads were posted in order of date and time, which ends up making the thread un-readable, if this is still the case (as I rarely merge) it's pretty much a waste of time unless you catch the new thread early.

Anyway that was my thoughts on it, you don't have to agree but it's some food for thought.

Well, no one should challenge Bush or his administration then. I mean, they are college graduates and have certain levels of experience and dealings in government, so we should have a certain amount of respect for them. Thus, even when they make mistakes, we should let the mistakes be because they were made by people in positions of powers. If they want to fuck up social security, let it be. If they want to fuck up education, let it be. If they want to send us into a unnecessary and aggressive war, let it be. Thousands have died, and many more will die, but we should respect their decisions because of their title.

My opinion is that just because someone was given a position doesn't mean that they will perform their job well, and just because they have that position doesn't mean they shouldn't be questioned. Performing your job well is the only quality that should keep you from being questioned.

Word. Good looking on the shout or whatever Syns, lol. :thumb:

You have totally missed the point. I'm guessing you are terrible at sports that require teamwork, golf is probably your game.

Actually, I am better at team sports because I know what my role is and I do my job properly.

So you say.

Did you actually read my post. If so, I don't see what is so hard to understand. I never said not to criticise someone if they are doing wrong, I said there is a way to do it.

When you are part of a team, you have ways of voicing opinions. You used the Bush administration, as I'm from the Uk, I'll use the Labour government. Say Tony Blair is doing something that the rest of the government don't appreciate, how do they voice their opinions? Do they use the correct channels? Or do they go to the tabloid newspaper and spill their guts?

I'm not getting too involbed in this, I'm not attacking 7 Syns or defending B-Real, I'm just stating an opinion. Like you have. And I appreciate what you say, but you aren't reading my post right.

I know what you meant, but I appreciate 7 Syn's approach.

He acted as a member of the community first and as a moderator second. Slowly the feel of this board has gone from a communal relationship to an oligarchy, at least in relation to the mods/admins.

Please don't ban me.

I quite like the Traz approach myself.

I actually agree with Pittsey. 7 syns should have done it in private, it seems like he's sucking up a little to Traz. That's what happens when you're a mod, but actually want to be an outlaw and a rebel like the rest of us common folk. :)
