Ressurrection.
The end of the year is approaching and might I say it's come and gone like that. When I think about it, as some people here will to, I didn't really accomplish anything outside of work.
In a few weeks it's the holidays so everyone stay cool don't do anything retarded and keep spearding the gospel word of Streethop.com's name. The more members the better for business, the more the site can grow and one day hopefully top AHH & SOHH as the premier hip-hop site.
Big shout out to Ruk, 16, 000 posts is a fucken lot no doubt. Also quick reminder that Ive got holidays soon so throw me some work to do on the main site and the board, Ive got some idea's which id like to run through you when the chance pops around.
Ha. It feels like forever since I joined here, came through under the alias "C.e.Oh!" which was dhull as shit now that I think about it. However 'Pro-Lifik (Tha Fix)' really showed my immaturity as a person, LOL. I love it. Stirred some people up and got banned..
A couple of members should be made Moderators and do I even go so far as to say a couple of Mods should be taken away from that position? Well, thats not my call so I'll stay contempt with who's helping run the show for now. But I do want to mention 'It's Linx', personally he needs to be moderating Streethop's (the forum) thread. Great overall knowledge and a cool person to that, give him a chance Ruk.
The Radio, sad to hear isn't it? That whatever powers to be are contemplating ending it. I used to listen online occassionally and it's a dope show, great music and good hosts. I can proudly say I even helped Ruk at times make playlists, gave him tracks and etc. The last show was one to remember however, LOL. Had a ball calling in. Ruk you have to upload it.
Mods, now Im not sure who does what and what is who's responsibility. After all this is just the internet, another form of entertainment. However some mods have been recently closing threads, now if a thread is stupid then so be it. It does though piss me off a little bit when a thread asking a standard question about something to do with the board is closed.. Not because it's closed period but because Mods come back at me saying "it's been done before". Well next time try to either merge the threads or leave a link directing it to the previous thread of the same subject matter.
It's shit like that which inevitably turns people away from the board, people turning away means less memberships. Less memberships means the board could be forced to shut down as has happened thousands of times at random other net boards.
Members, big one love to a few people doing their thing and keeping me smiling or laughing everytime I log on. Amara, K69tie, _carmi, Missy "C", Synful Luv, Flipp, Salar, E, Amerika'zMost (you annoying mofo) and Kamikazi (who im convinced has a built in toilet to the computer chair because he's online 24-7)..
Traz, they're not important so no real reason to mention them. ha. I'll put their name down for the sake that they're originals to the board.
