dont think this is too controversial. he's basically saying you don't get shit from him just from being a friend, you gotta earn it. if i became rich and famous i'd help my people out, but like any man with an ego, i wouldn't accept being used. basically, this has been common practice for centuries and 50 cent is not bringing anything to the table. it is refreshing to see that 50 is that serious about it. maybe he is destroying hiphop, maybe he's not, but the fact that he's willing to fire a friend off his label instead of letting them make bad music tells me he does this with a pure heart.

50 cent bringing an order of respect to the table is an example of good work ethic so that no one could or should even thinking about trying to take advantage of him, and yes, that's what he is bringing to the table. It's business, never personal.
