Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent's ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son, was reportedly granted a temporary restraining order against the rapper by a judge today (June 20).

As part of the restraining order, 50 Cent will have to surrender his firearms and can only pick up and drop off his eleven year old son "at curbside." The rapper is not allowed to be on any premises with Tompkins.

Tompkins' lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, told The Associated Press on Friday that he is working on getting a permanent restraining order against 50 Cent.

Tompkins claims that 50 Cent's associates threatened to kill her and that the rapper orchestrated the May fire that burned down the Long Island mansion she lived in. Click here for a video interview containing her accusations.

The multi-million dollar home, which is under 50's name, was destroyed by a fire in the early morning hours of May 30th. Six people who were in the house including 50 Cent's ex-girlfriend and his son were rushed to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.

After being released from hospital, Tompkins claimed that 50 Cent was behind the fire.

50 Cent has denied the allegations and has slapped Tompkins with a defamation lawsuit for her claims.

50 Cent and Tompkins have been fighting over the house after the rapper attempted to have her evicted from the home unless she paid rent. Tompkins retaliated by filing a breach of contract lawsuit claiming that the rapper promised to buy her the house.

Fire officials who arrived at the house to distinguish the blaze called the fire "suspicious" and determined it as arson. A 5-gallon gas container would also be found on the grounds. Their investigation is still underway and neither 50 or Tompkins have been named as suspects.
