After months of being embroiled in an ugly court battle with his ex-girlfriend, 50 Cent has reached a custody agreement over visitation of their 11-year-old sold.

According to People, tension in the courtroom in New York on Wednesday (October 22) was high, as 50 (real name: Curtis Jackson) avoided eye contact with Shaniqua Tompkins through the proceeding that took just minutes.

At the end of it, 50 was granted one weekend a month with his son Marquise, as well as half of his winter and spring breaks from school. He originally asked for two a month.

Additionally, TMZ reports he was also granted one month during the summer.

"50 is pleased this has been settled and looks forward to spending some quality time with his son," his attorney, Brett Kimmel, told People.

"We came to an agreement," Tompkins said after the hearing. "Despite my feelings for his father, I want Marquise and his father to have a healthy relationship. That's what that time is for."

The feud between 50 and his ex became public after the Long Island home where both Tompkins and Marquise were living burned down in May 2008. An arson investigation is ongoing.
