Floyd Mayweather will be accompanied to the ring for his match against Big Show at WrestleMania 24 by rapper 50 Cent.
This morning during a radio interview in New York, Floyd asked 50 to bring him out to the ring at WrestleMania and 50 answered, "I'm coming."
"We got a friendship," Mayweather previously told MTV News about his relationship with 50 Cent. "We talk about business a little bit. We talked about it when Coca-Cola bought VitaminWater. He said, 'You didn't see what I just did?' [I said,] 'Of course I did. Congratulations. Now you have to take me out to eat.'"
50 Cent previously performed his hit song “I Get Money” while escorting Mayweather to the ring for his fight with Oscar De La Hoya last year.
While the initial Mayweather angle didn't get WWE the kind of buzz they were hoping for, having one of the biggest rappers in the world coming out to the ring with Floyd at WrestleMania will definitely get them some more of the mainstream attention they've been looking for.
