i ran a site for several years that was the top (and friendly) competitor to hiphopspot, and yes, over the years i put plenty of stuff out either on those or just on the net for nothing. the few who remember funkmaster's old site know the deal.
regarding nuttso's post, the simple answer is that times change. people used to actually buy new stuff, but once the calendar hit 2000 most people feel entitled to everything without sacrifice. son rize brought tons of new pac and yaki, and it was hardly supported at all. free 2pac sold so little that it's not worth it to make a volume 3. the makaveli returns brought not only new songs, but also full songs and full quality that was previously unleaked, and again, people didn't buy.
it's so easy for people to sit back and demand others to give them songs or footage, and this spoiled brat syndrome has infected the 2pac scene pretty badly.
