Yes it pisses me off. But you have to realize that you're in Ireland, not the U.S. I'm sure that a lot of Americans mispronounce a lot of international celebrities from outside of the U.S., so it's not totally ignorance. Take how we pronounce "Antonio Banderas," then listen to a native Spanish speaker say the same name.
