I remember Dante had several dates and articles on his timeline.

There was one article where Thug Life was recording some songs, and i remember he had a few studio dates (The ones in Feb 96 with Nuttso, and the one 8/1/94 (Temptations/Str8 Ballin/Runnin)

Maybe he saved those things somewhere.

Temptations (as we know it) was re-recorded on this day in 8/94.

Someone leaked Temptations (OG) that was recorded in 1993. (Different beat). I guess while in the studio with Easy Mo Bee, he came across a dope beat and said "Yo Mo Bee, drop that shit" and re-recorded it.

temptations og has not leaked. i made two og vibe mixes that resemble the og, which i subsequently heard were being passed off as og.

like much of the matw album, pac recorded temptations vocals over a looped beat that was later remixed and sequenced such that it was much different as a final lp draft. moe bee produced the og and the lp versions.

Wow, I'm glad to see this is finally picking up support/progress. Can't wait to see what comes out of it. Good luck Ragriz and like I said just try to make it like the nirvana site i linked to earlier, as that is not only accurate as to release info, but also sources--such as official release, bootlegs, artist's tapes, etc. This may cause a lot of people to have to give up some info that's very little known, and some of it we may not understandbly get.

But if you group all the tracks into the "sessions" at which they were recorded, I think that way the site will be most accurate. We can also get a clearer picture of how his music evolved over time or which events were contemporary to which songs. such as clearing up the common misconception that makaveli was recorded during the last week of his life (it wasn't--it was done in june/july).

of course, some false beliefs will always remain, but i think this can go a long way in clearing up a lot of those. best of luck and if you want any help please let me know and i'll try my best w/limited time/resources, i'm amped to see this moving along!!!

This was confirmed in XXL to be recorded in August 96'.....Outlawz, producers and engineers all confirmed it. Its not a misconception. Its a FACT.

So, maybe not the last week of his life but pretty damn close.

Str8 Ballin' cant be that! Dante once said Str8 Ballin was the OG version to Im Gettin Money (which is a '93 song)
Temptations is from '93 aswell
most of the songs from Thug Life should be '93.. guess u got that date wrong

i got a fair amount done, it would help if this str8 ballin shit was cleared up. its difficult and record labels dont want to help so ive moved on to a concert history which is basically done. yea help with str8ballin would be nice
