The version that everyone knows Story is that Pac wrote it for Hammer, Hammer performed it, Pac thought it was shit, Pac recotrded it to show how to do it properly and MC hammer obviously took no notice. I don't know if it was released when pac was alive by Hammer, I'm not sure when Family Affair's came out. peace

wow this song is horrendous, and u can tell by the flow hammere def didnt write the lyrics, pac laid this track down 1000 times better

the referene in lyrics u can tell it was pac writing "the elevation of todays generation if i can make em listen", thats something tupac was worried about and would write..

"time to blast strategize, my families gota eat"-- again a tupac type lyric, its very obvious this isnt hammers writing...

hammer needs to learn to listen to other people, i actually had to put tupacs version in restore my faith in good music lol
