i been listening to a song by king t called Shake Da Spot.. it uses samples form cali love and it's a diss directed towards pac.. i've heard about their beef before, but what happened why were they beefin? i don't think pac ever responded though..

i listen to king t, very good rapper. but theres no history of beef between him and pac. he was probably just abit jealous of pac's success thats why he was saying how gsngsta he is compared these "young cats". But in my opinion, I've never saw this song as a proper diss.
By the way King T was cool with dre wasn't he?

^yeah i think you're right. i haven't peeped his latest album, has anyone else?
the album that he recorded for aftermath (thy kingdom come) is some of his best work. i'll always love ths shit out of his older albums (tha trifilin album is one of the best old school west coast albums of all time next to doc's no one can do it better). super nigga too. nuff said.

as for tee and pac, i don't think the song's a diss. that sample has been used in a fair number of hip hop songs, starting with epmd back in the day. if tee wanted beef, he's have had the balls enough to say "fuck pac" instead of hiding behind interpretation.

i was at a picnic in north richmond and king tee showed up in the orange lolo on the trifilin album cover. that's one of the best rides i have ever seen.

dru down showed up in a stolen blazer. and he wonders why he's always locked up.

^ok. by the way i wasn't talking about thy kingdom come being his latest album (though it is most DEFINATELY his best) but an album he released late 2004? ruthless chronicles it's called, i just checked.
i always felt the whole vibe of the song suggests it aint a diss, but i dont blame anyone for asking since the way cali love cuts out at the start.

i did some research and it turned out that this song was released in 98... i doubt he would have dissed a dead man.. and after listenin to the whole album closely i found out that on the last track "Whos Who (The Original)" he even gave 2pac props, sayin "makaveli lives" at the end of his second verse..
