2pac " If yall take me out the game, you dont want to see the next nigga"(50 Cent?)
"cause he aint gonna have no compassion". Most of you probably remember that 2Pac quote that in some interview before he died. That next nigga to me seems like 50 Cent. Its not about him being the next Pac, but he's the nigga after him who seem to take all the worst parts of Pac and seems to be heartless with no compassion. No real positivity or conciousness in his music. Seems to be just stackin more and more money an doing positive with it. Is attacking about every rapper in the business. Makes catchy hooks like Pac, but that seem slike the only part of the song he focuses on. Seems to me like he took off where Pac left off, except more selfish and heartless (and the lack of talent). What yall think? Oh and this aint an anti 50 thread, im actually happy to see a nigga stackin money, and shakin shit up in the industry

2Pac was talking about himself in that interview man. I don't think I have it on my computer to listen to and give quotes and evidence, but I remember it pretty well. When he says, "If you take me out the game, you ain't gonna like this next nigga...," he's basically saying, "If you take me out of rap (force me to stop doing what I love), you ain't gonna like the person I turn into." Something like that. I wish my example didn't sound so stupid, but go back and listen to the interview again, you'll figure it out.

Yeah they quote this on Rap Phenomenon, and it leads into a track by 50, so they are implying what you just said also. Pac was very prophetic.

yeup told yallllllllllllll he knew there was no more keep ya head up ,changes etc he was probly kept it to himself like damn shit will go pop ,cuz he kept talking about niggas feeling pop in the future in thugs angel too.And 50 is playing it,but don't get me wrong i think ja rule was a fan but what jayz did with biggie it's what ja was trying to do but in a way he stripped pac's whole style and listen to what 50 says in realist killas in da intro, that's where pac was like more if he was to be gone and a future rapper takes his shit and says this is what am about u know better than that so ja got his answer.
2.maybe someone who will use his legacy footstep someone who studied what he was trying to do but pac ended up stumbling, and in ressurrection pac said at the end that rapper will be worse and thrue him pac shall be reborn(i didn't say that pac said that cuz yall pac fans get too fucking emotional, his dead and that was maybe what he planned but to never forget there was once a true art named Tupac shakur so let him be reborn thrue someone else like he said).

I think he ment his spirt would continue in the bodies of his fans an hopefully influence the world to change for the better.

man to me.....50 cent is like the next pac in certain ways....he run the mainstream, he got hella white fans following his moves and always ridin his dick, he beefs with fools

but the thing is he sucks....hes horrible on teh mic, and to me hes a fuckin stain in teh game, hes carrying the torch that is killing rap music....

but the thing is is either you like him or you dont....just like 2pac....i remember hella fools hating on pac back and now....they both in the same postions as far as runnin shit

but pac happened to be pac....which we all knwo what that entailed....50 cant rap, he annoys the fuck out of me, i hate what he stands for, pac touched our lives.....so teh comparisons end after the fact they were both mainstream tyrants runnin the game...only one was good and one is cancer

i've thought about this too... im still waitin on the next rapper to take it to the level 2pac was at or further. by the way, i don't think 2pac was talking about himself, i think he was talking about the rapper who will rise who will be even more angry, more full of energy, more raw, more outspoken, so in other words more "dangerous" to society. i don't think any rapper has yet to approach this level or gotten anywhere near the level that 2pac was at and im talking about more than just music, im talking about his level of fame, his impact, everything... well that's what im thinking anyways

Well if Immortal Technique would switch up his subject matter more he'd be a step further up on the ladder :thumb:

Attacking every rapper in the business? Count & then compare to the number Tupac attacked, there difference really isn't too profound.

And 50 makes catchier hooks than Tupac did so it's not "like" Tupac.

man yall some dumb fucks.....50 cant b pac.....man 2day we got rappers aging 30-40 years old acting like they 20 , 19, and 18.....first of rappers 2day need 2 grow the fuck up..n 50 cant b pac cus he was raised differently...pac was raised on everythin he said n did...u tell thru his music..pac didnt kno nuttin called hustlin or been on the streets until he got on the streetz.....so before makavelli u can tell all the shit he was raised on he was teachin the world thru his music wit it....n when pac turned into makavelli that is when u peep the street life he soaked from the streets....pac was educated...50 aint educated...pac wasnt born a prophet or a speaker like he was....he mother n family raised him on it....the man was educated by his family at HOME...pac wasnt on the streets....he was a LOONER...thats one thing ppl dont get...thats y he turned into that...so all the hate that grew up in him from growin up poor revealed itself when he made it big...like he said in that thug angel interveiw 'ima let these muthafuckaz feeel the heat that i had to go thru like a muthafucka'......to be like pac u gotti b born like that...50 aint pac and CANT be.....cus pac never put homies behind bars...peace
