Why does anyone wear glasses?

Pac never wore them when he wrote or read so I guess they were strictly for photo shoots.

I was wondering why he wore them sometimes also. I have no clue why...I don't think he needed them, but maybe a little later in his life his vision slightly declined. It's been known to happen.
