I would say CunninLynguists - A Piece of Strange... BUT has it been released this year? I thought the release date was sometime Jan 2006?

Anyway, amazing album.

Why two threads? If album is dope, it's dope. Underground or mainstream, doesn't matter. Might as well separate albums into south/west/east/north.

I don't count guys like GZA and AZ as underground, or they'd be on here.

1-One.Be.Lo "S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M."
2-Supastition "Chain Letters"
3-Smif-N-Wessun "Reloaded"
4-Zion I "True & Livin'"
5-Sean Price "Monkey Barz"

Why only from the list?
There's great albums you missed.
Good point, I was half asleep when I did it up and thought I had covered all the genuine "solid" lp's of the year.

peace.

Haven't listened to all of them, but from the one's I've heard.

Buck Shot & 9th Wonder - Chemistry.

Stands out the most of me.
