I just picked up this little dime of a book:

And it struck me as odd that the first song in that book is RUSD? But not the RUSD version from the posthumous album RUSD. In fact it is a totally diferent song :confused:

you picked up that 2pac book and it has lyrics in it, and the first song is a different rusd, is that what youre trying to say?

yes there are 2 versions of the song... one which has different lyrics.

I remember listening to a commercial for RUSD on the radio once or twice in 1997, and they would play Jon B's Are U Still Down (before it was commercially released, I think) in the background, and when I bought RUSD I was going nuts looking for the song on both CDs.

Thankfully they released a CD single of it not much afterward :) but unfortunately over the past several years the CD has been scratched to hell somehow :confused:
 
I remember that song was being played non stop on the radio .. plus jon b had another song constently being played i think it was" They Don't Know". It was huge when it was being played a long with do 4 luv.. if i remember correctly

if you want a copy i can point you to places to get it for less than a buck. nostalgia is nice sometimes :P
