I was wondering if Out The Moon on the Gridlock'd soundtrack is the first song where tupac's vocals are used on a song that wasn't a track he performed on or planned to have added vocals. So if I am assuming correct, this is the first song that tupac was 'placed' on. Thx in advance for any info. -Pete

possibly true, and it was dr's publicist at the time who spoon fed this rumor to us... the truth is that lbc crew recorded the song, daz remixed it for radio, remixed it again, and pac was later added to give it death row appeal (since lbc crew were arguably boring). pac's verse is not only edited, but trails off incompletely, which is evidence for me to believe that it was indeed the first of the posthumous remixes. throughout all the years, i still haven't found the original source of the verse.

I dunno. He says 'Out The Moon' in his verse, and the 'Mobbin in my..' where it supposedly trails off is an ad-lib he has used in other songs. I mean clearly he was added in at a later time, because there is an OG of the song w/o Pac, but to me, it sounds like he had the intention of being on the song, since he did say 'Out The Moon.' I doubt that's just a coincidence. How many other times do you hear rappers say 'out the moon' other than this song honestly?
