I am bored so after watching "Ticket To The Show - 20 Years of LA Lakers." I came up with this match-up. In a 7 Game Series between the 1985 Los Angeles Lakers vs the 2000 Los Angeles Lakers. Who wins?

Ronnie Lester
Coach:
Pat Riley 62 - 20 (playoffs:8 - 6)

VS

2000 Lakers

F – Glenn Rice
F – A.C. Green

Wow.... that's tough to call.

however, that 2000 team was pretty dominant.. and Shaq is a monster and nobody can manhandle the dude...

I'm gonna say 2000 Lakers.. but only a bit..

I'm going to say the 1985 Lakers. Obviously Shaq will have his points but who can stop the sky hook? Also the 1985 Lakers has great defensive players especially Cooper. Who's going to stop Magic baby?

Shaq would dominate Jabbar thats for sure.

Cooper would frustrate the hell out of Kobe.

The key to this game would be James Worthy. I dont see anyone from the 2000 Lakers stopping him.

I agree with you there. Magic was never stopped.

Well Shaq would demorilize old man Kareem. Cooper+Byron are two of the best Gaurd defenders, and would make it extremly hard for Kobe to do anything. Magic could just chill on Rice at the perimeter.

The 1985 squad is so much deeper and has such a better starting lineup, wouldn't suprise me if they would win in 5games.
