This is basically a heavy metal/hard rock poll. Let's see, no AC/DC, Metallica, Van Halen, Motley Crue, or Megadeth on the list. It's missing a lot of classic stuff and has too much new stuff of which not enough time has passed to tell if they are truly classic. It's about what I would expect from a general poll.

The absence of those bands WAS pretty shocking, until I realised than none of them are British :p

Yeah was surprised it didn't include the Beatles. But happy not to see Oasis. Is the Prodigy really a rock band? Surprised not to see Verve - Urban Hymns. If "fat of the land" was in there, I dont see why "urban hymns" wasnt. I dont get some of the logic in this list (manic street preachers - why are they there?)

Pink Floyd and Deep Purple :thumb:

Ahh, i had missed that, too. I thought it was a British poll. Now it makes sense. Still, Prodigy shouldn't be there.

Where the hell is the Wall?? That album is one of the greatest of all time.. how can Pink Floyd not make the list with that album? yeah.. Dark Side is good.. but the Wall is superior in my opinion... and the Darkness.... jesus....
