So now Man City want Torres for 50 million. So most of the Liverpool first team squad is leaving soon along with Rafa Benitez. Ever notice that they never link Carragher with anyone or Gerrard because there is no point because everyone will know its bullshit. I reckon they are trying to unsettle the Liverpool team and cause problems. English scum media.

Gerrard was linked heavily with Chelsea a few years back, supposedly he was on his was to London then changed his mind.

How old is Joaquin now? I still dont think he fulfilled his potential. He was the main man at Real Betis, but at Valencia hes up and down, can be great but can also be very ordinary.

^^he has been very good this season but last season Koeman fucked him around a bit. He was excellent for Betis as well. He also performed very well for Spain in WC 2002 and 2006 when he played.

^^i think he is a good defender but not a good defensive midfielder. I saw him a few times this season and he cant seem to pass a ball 5 yards. He is no Mascherano or Makalele thats for sure. But i think centre half is his proper position.

What a disgrace. Benitez should be got rid of now. If the team is set up to draw, you will get a draw. He is the most negative cautious fucker of a manager ever. Robbie Keane should hand in a transfer request too. He is being blagarded by Benitez.

do you think that Berbatov is a flop. They say that Keane is a flop but Berbatov has only got a goal or two more and has been anonymous in a lot games. He doesnt get subbed in every game like Keane does either.

Berba has played well though, he just needs some more urgency, but if were talking about goals then yeah hes not done it enough yet. Although the problem I see is that the wingers are not doing it this season. C.Ronaldo has scored 8 goals fair enough but has been average alot of the time. Park Ji Sung is there for his energy nothing else. Nani is so frustrating and Giggs doesn't play on the wings anymore (shouldn't be playing at all really).

Its annoying when Anderson is benched. He can unlock defences but doesn't start as much

^^yea but the point is that people are labeling Keane a flop but nothing is said about Berbatov.He seems to get of lightly whereas Keane is always being criticised.. You could argue that both players are having similar seasons but at least Berbatov is playing full games everytime whereas Keane gets hauled off after 60 minutes everytime or is on the bench. Personally i think its still to early to label either a flop.

Scholes is the man that provides the creativity but he isnt playing as much and is getting on a bit now. I guess Anderson is his successor but i dont think he is near the player Scholes was.

Alberto Dossena lmao. this guy is just so bad. How can you justify playing this guy. He was at fault for both goals yesterday again. He cant defend and he is too slow to be a threat going forward. Aurelio looks like the best left back in the world next to him. Benitez started Insua at left back in the game against Blackburn. He did quite well but then doesnt play at all yesterday. Why not give this youngster a run in the team like Man Utd are doing with Rafael.
