Luton town got relegated from League 2. IF they didnt have 30 pts deducted they wouldve finished midtable.
Those PFA nominations are a complete and utter disgrace. No Xabi Alonso, No Carragher, No Frank Lampard, yet Man Utd get Ronaldo, VDS and Giggs nominated.
Then Rafael gets a nomination for the young player of the year even though he hardly plays but Insua who has been very impressive for Liverpool doesnt.

In the case of ROnaldo. He hasnt been that good this season except for flashes here and there
Giggs doesnt play every game. He has been good in some games.
VDS is in because he went a long time without conceding a goal but that was more down to the defense than him imo.

I would agree that not all the Man Utd players deserved a nomination, but most of it is due to the record they broke (Ferdinand/VDS especially) Giggs hasn't been that good, before the Chelsea game no-one wouldve mentioned him.

But Bobby that Rafael comment is bordering on insanity. Insua has played 10 games this season in all competitions thats still less than Rafael has played in the league alone. He was our 1st choice Right back for a good while before his injury.

Fair enough but you can't argue against the fact that he's joint top scorer in the Premiership though.
I'm amazed Lampard hasn't been nominated, 19 goals in 46 games this year is amazing.

Few years ago I used to hate his guts, but overcoming my arrogance ive seen what a quality player and proper professional he is. He's been class this season aswell, probably overlooked due to Chelsea's stuttering inconsistency.
